Research Site Introduction:
Mount Vernon Clinical Research specializes in conducting clinical research studies (also called clinical trials) to test possible treatments for medical conditions. With many decades of collective staff experience, we are one of Georgia’s premier independent clinical research centers. Mount Vernon Clinical Research was founded in 2004. Although our current research center is relatively new, our management and staff have considerable previous clinical trials experience. Our principal investigators are all board certified medical doctors with a combined total of over thirty years of clinical trials experience.
Mount Vernon Clinical Research is a part of Wake Research, an integrated organization of premier investigational sites working closely with and meeting the needs of the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical industry and clinical research organizations in North America. Wake Research is affiliated with large multi-specialty group practices, hospitals and healthcare systems. Additionally, Wake Research has its own proprietary patient database of more than 2 million potential clinical trial participants—men and women, children and adults, across all ethnicities—for all kinds of adaptive and other types of trial designs.
